When my toothpaste is close to running out, I take the lid off and squeeze as hard as I can, to get the very last bit of the toothpaste out of the tube.
Sometimes I wonder if this is like life. Where we try to squeeze as much out of life as possible; either by filling our time with experiences, or trying to stay healthy for as long as possible,
in order to squeeze every last bit out of our lives.
But unfortunately, no matter how effective I am at squeezing—the toothpaste eventually runs our.
And sadly, so also will our lives.
But there is good news—for Jesus was raised from the dead and offers eternal life.
Which means that no matter how much we squeeze out of our lives—Jesus promises us life that will never run out.
