It’s important to listen to warnings.
Signs on the road warn about traffic dangers. There are warnings about excessive sun exposure and the dangers of skin cancer. The Titanic was warned numerous times before it crashed into an iceberg causing a catastrophic loss of life.
It’s important to listen to warnings.
Perhaps surprisingly there are also warnings in the Bible. One of these is in John 3:36, which says,
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on them.
This is a challenging warning — the warning is that failing to believe in Jesus means missing out on life with God — which would be a terrible mistake.
The New Testament authors wrote these warnings for a reason — hence it’s important to listen to warnings.
