We live in a world where identity politics is rife. And at a personal level, many are struggling with their own identity: who exactly am I? This week at City Legal James Harricks shows us ‘The Difference Jesus makes: a New Identity’ by looking at the Apostle Peter’s letter to Christians in the First Century who were under great pressure.
James is the Senior Minister of St Matthias Church in Centennial Park. He dreamt of being a lawyer when growing up – until he spent a summer working for a city law firm! Whilst happy that he is not on the wrong side of lawyer jokes, he now confesses to identifying as a middle-aged road cyclist, which he believes are a ‘sad and persecuted minority’!
