Film(s) Summary:

Inside Out: Audiences will reenter the mind of Riley (Kensington Tallman), who has turned 13 years of age, and puberty has begun to take hold of her emotions. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear (Tony Hale) and Disgust (Liza Lapira) are still at the helm of the teenager’s emotional state. Still, as Riley goes through changes, new characters begin to enter her mind. Embarrassment (Paul Walter Hauser), Ennui (Adèle Exarchopoulos), and Envy (Ayo Edebiri) invade the familiar space as they are led by Anxiety (Maya Hawke). Along with these new emotions, Riley must determine how she will navigate this new season of life with her friends, dreams and significant shifts in her social life.

Hit Man: Based loosely on the bizarre true life of a university professor turned undercover fake hitman, Gary Johnson (Glenn Powell). He works behind the scenes to assist with the electronic surveillance of law enforcement who hope to capture individuals trying to hire someone to kill a person in their lives. Then, one day, the introverted cat-lover is asked to fill in for another undercover agent and discovers he has a gift for getting people to confess to their crimes. Gary proves to be one of the most successful agents for the New Orleans Police Department until he tries to help an abused wife, Maddy Masters (Adria Arjona), who is hoping to get out of her difficult marriage. This leads to a tangled web of deception and romance as the pair fall for one another despite their relationship being based on a lie and potential murder.

We've got a lot of ground to cover!

So many shows, so little time. At least it feels like it. Between all the different streaming platforms and the blockbuster movies coming to cinema trying to get audiences back in a post-COVID world, we are spoilt for choice on screen – and yet, still “have nothing to watch”.
